Scholarships for International Students

For Master's students
 
Exemption from tuition and miscellaneous feesexcluding dormitory feesinsurance premiums (e.g. National Health Insurance/medical insurance and student group insurance), computer and internet fees.
 
Requirement: you can have your tuition fees and miscellaneous fees waived for 2 years at maximum if your GPA is at least 3.38 in each semester. 
 
  • Tick “Apply for Scholarship” in the online degree application system
  • the degree program
  • One time application, up to 3 academic years

 


Notes:
1. Scholarship applicants should be interviewed by their prospective advisors first. 
2. Early submission of your application is required to allow time for review. Qualified applications will be discussed at the Program meeting. Selected applicants will obtain the signed “Academic Advisor Consent Form for NSYSU Ph.D. Scholarship” to upload to the admission application system.
 

 

 

 

 

NSYSU international scholarship

 
For Doctoral students

Requirement (Obligation) to continuously receive scholarship may vary according to affiliated advisor's research agenda.

 

Note: you may also apply for Elite Doctoral scholarship at the same time.
 

NSYSU

Elite Doctoral Student Scholarship

NSYSU

Office of  Academic Affairs (OAA)

 NT$15,000/month

Requirement: You may apply for NSYSU Elite Scholarship if your GPA is at least 3.5 in each semester. Requirement (Obligation) to continuously receive scholarship may vary according to affiliated advisor's research agenda.


Note: During summer and winter breaks (August to September and February), stipends will be given in the following month of registration due to review and administrative procedures.

 

Submit the required documents in the semester:

1. Application form (1 copy)

2. Research plan (1 copy)

3. Supporting documents (published papers, awards, extracurricular activities, etc.) that may aid the review process (not mandatory)

Taiwan Scholarship

Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)

  1. NT$30,000/month
  2. Tuition is charged as same as Taiwanese students
