Application for 2019 Dual Degree Program in IGPEHD, NSYSU
Information
Regulations and Goal
1. This Dual Degree Program is in accordance with Regulations of Dual Degree Program between NSYSU and Overseas Universities and Dual Degree Program Agreement between IGPEHD NSYSU and Overseas Universities.
2. This Dual Degree Program aims to strengthen our students in terms of vision and competence by receiving education internationally.

Application
First Screening
1. Application period is from October 2019 till the end of May 2020.
2. Eligibility
a) Have at least 9 credits taken from our Institute and GPA 3 or above from the previous semester. Performance in other areas will also be considered;
b) Language proficiency meets the admission criteria of the overseas university;
c) Have selected a supervisor from the overseas university before application; and
d) Have the competence of research and publication at the international level.
3. Required documents
a) Transcripts from NSYSU
b) Overseas study plan, which should include
(1) Study goals, courses to take and study period;
(2) Profile about yourself (within 1,000 words in A4 paper); and
(3) Documents and contact information from the Institute in the Dual Program, e.g., invitation letter for cooperation or email adress.
4. Screening Criteria
1. Screening will be all based on the documents sent for application.
2. Results will be based on the resolutions concluded in the Screening Committee.
5. Successful applicants will need to
a) Complete and pass at least one English taught course from our Institute, or meet the language requirement from the university in the Dual Program;
b) Attend the second screening before the end of July 2021;
c) Apply for overseas study reimbursement based on the timeline set by the funders. Please acquire more information given by the following funders:

Second Screening – to see if the applicants meet the criteria set in the Dual Program
1. Screening will be done by the end of July 2021; however, alternations may be made if needed.
2. Criteria
1. Have studied in our Institute for at least 2 years;
2. Have taken at least 34 credits as the graduation requirement set by our Institute;
3. Have GPA at least 3 in each semester in our Institute;
4. Complete and pass at least one English taught course from our Institute or meet the language requirement set by the overseas university.
3. Additional 6 moth observation will be applied to applicants who do not meet the above mentioned criteria. Application would be declined, based on the resolutions concluded in the Screening Committee, if these applicants still do not satisfy the criteria.
4. The successful applicants will need to
a) Prepare for the overseas study; and
b) Apply for admission to the university in Dual Program.
5. Other matters will be subject to NSYSU’s relevant regulations if not mentioned in this Information.
